TFC is a next generation TECNO 3 roaster, for the continuous roasting of cocoa beans.
The system follows the traditional whole bean processing method: this is the best method if it is used for cocoa varieties of good and excellent quality, with particular aromas that need to be preserved up to the finished product. The upper part features the debacterisation unit, which treats the beans with superheated steam and discharges them directly into the roaster hopper. The treatment ensures a total charge of less than 1000 CFU/g.
With a vertical design, the TECNO 3 roaster is very compact and offers good accessibility to make cleaning and maintenance operations easier. The precision of the toasting cycle is entrusted to the PLC, which manages the process stages that can all be set from the touch-screen operator panel.
Made of AISI 304 stainless steel, with an output capacity ranging from 100 to 1000 kg/h, the roaster is particularly suitable for achieving the correct level of roasting for different varieties of cocoa beans.
