Tecno 3 enjoyed considerable success at the INTERPACK exhibition, with a high attendance of visitors.
Technicians, technologists and production managers showed a big interest in the machines exhibited and complimented us for the advanced process technology. High appreciation and consensus were collected with regard to the hygienic features, the easy and rapid product changeover and the particular care for design and construction - even in the finest details -.
The machines exhibited at the show were the following ones:
CONTINUOUS DOSER MIXERS FOR LIQUID AND SOLID PRODUCTS
The MDC-A series continuous doser mixer is used in the production of chocolate and creams, to evenly dose and mix the liquid and solid ingredients that are in the recipes.
Made entirely in AISI 304 stainless steel, the machine can be used in a line to continuously feed the refining plants or as a self contained unit, to be placed in different positions in the production lines, thanks to its easy movable structure on wheels.
The recipe management and the correct dosage of the ingredients, are controlled with PLC, which also manages all the other parameters, such as the tank temperature, the mixer’s speed and the direction of rotation, the product level, etc..
The Tecno 3 continuous doser-mixer makes it possible to manage very small quantities of mixture, a rapid change of recipe and an easy substantial cleaning.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL ROBOTIC OPERATOR
The new ORM robotised station was born in order to satisfy the needs of automation and flexibility of the modern production processes.
The innovative column structure upon wheels, makes it easy to move the machine between the different work positions. Once it reaches its destination, the station is secured by means of a suitable mechanism.
The connections between the machines and lines to be served are also very quick, as they are carried out by means of industrial modular connectors (power, signals, bus, pneumatics).
The accessory devices of the station, such as the belts, the vibrating hoppers, the rotary tables, the loaders or the dispensers are interchangeable depending on the operation to be carried out and are directly hooked to the column.
The station is equipped with a multi-camera vision system for tracking products at inlet – outlet.
Being fully customizable, the vision system can also perform product compliance monitoring (shape, colour, presence/absence of parts etc.).
COLLABORATIVE ROBOTIC OPERATOR
The ORC station (Collaborative Robot) is based on the new YuMi collaborative robot by ABB, which ensures man and machine can work side to side.
The lightness of the magnesium alloy arms, their soft padding and the absence of coupling or crushing points, make sure that the perimeter protections are no longer required and let the robot and operator share the operating area, in accordance with designated safety standards.
The Tecno 3 ORC station is ideal for assembling and packaging small products, especially when the movements requested are articulate and require the exerted force to be controlled. The cameras built into the grippers allow the robots to adapt to different power supply conditions and to perform quality control functions at the same time. Moreover, the ORC station can be easily moved from one operating station to another inside the plant, which makes it particularly suitable to work on medium-sized lots.
MULTIPROCESS: THE FIRST COMPACT BEAN TO BAR MACHINE
Tecno 3, a company with over twenty-five years of experience in the chocolate sector presents an absolute novelty in the field that will give a unique flavor to your business.
It’s Multiprocess, the first compact system for producing chocolate from the cocoa nibs to the bar.
Just 2 x 1 meters in size, it can be completely dismounted for quick and easy cleaning.
Multiprocess can be displayed in-store to allow customers to watch the fascinating process of creating chocolate, while conserving the high quality, aromas, and inimitable characteristics of the most noble cacao during all phases of production.
Every step is easily managed with a touchscreen command panel that is both simple and intuitive: cacao nibs are placed in the container and transformed into cocoa mass, then mixed with other primary ingredients.
The paste is then refined and transferred along a viewable belt to the innovative phase of conching, which eliminates excessive acidity.
The continuous cycle lasts about two hours and operates at a low energy level (8 kW), allowing a final chocolate with a fineness of about 20 microns.
At this point, after being finely sieved and tempered, the produced is ready to be molded as desired and is then left to rest in an integrated refrigerated unit below the process area.
